For colleges and training centres

Every learner gets their own board.

S-Plan, Y-Plan and combi on a live circuit, 45 lessons that check each connection, 23 call-outs in the customer’s words, and a report that shows you who has done what, and how well.

Pilots run from January 2027: two seats, one group, one week, from your official college email.

The course list in DrawWarm Learning Mode

Three problems, three answers

What a simulator fixes that a rig cannot

One rig per class

A simulator per student. Twenty learners wire twenty S-Plans at once, and break them, and fix them.

No record of practice

The tutor report: who completed what, fault-finding scores, time on task. Exportable, with dates.

Wiring taught on paper

A live circuit. Every terminal knows whether it is live, neutral or earth; land the switched live on the wrong block and see what happens.

By role

What each person sees

One organisation, four roles, every rule enforced by the system, not by goodwill.

  • Buys the seats and sees the invoices; up to two managers per organisation.
  • Appoints admins and tutors, and can do everything they can.
  • Sees the seat meter: seats in use, seats held for 30 days after someone leaves, seats free.

There is also an admin role: people and groups across the whole organisation, without billing.

How a pilot works

Four steps, one week

  1. Step 1

    Apply from your college email

An official college address (usually .ac.uk) or a training centre’s business address. You get a reply within one working day with a 15-minute set-up slot for each person.

  2. Step 2

Two seats, one group, seven days

A tutor and a learner, or two tutors: enough to wire an S-Plan, run a call-out and see the report. Learners join with the code.

  3. Step 3

    One check-in

A message midway through the week. Anything that blocks you is fixed within a day.

  4. Step 4

    The report, then a quote

The tutor report, a 15-minute call, and a quote on the standard seat ladder, only if you want one.

After the pilot, full-version seats are £990 a seat a year in packs of 10, with five per cent off each pack up to 20 per cent: a 12-month licence, paid by card or invoiced against your purchase order on 30-day terms, renewing unless you tell us, and able to run to 31 July so it renews in the summer. Launch pricing until 31 March 2027. See the seat calculator.

Teaching your own curriculum? Sandbox seats are £348 a seat a year, any number of seats, the same price as an individual paying yearly: the simulator with every component and system and the multimeter, no lessons. Tutors use it as the board at the front of the room and every learner gets their own.

White label

Teach it from your own website, under your own logo

A licence to run the simulator on your site as your own course: your logo in the app, your tutors on video, your learners at home. Remote learning in a trade that has always needed a room, a rig and a tutor in it.

What you get

  • Your logo and name in the simulator your learners see.
  • One snippet of code that puts the simulator on any page of your site.
  • Scripts for every lesson, so your tutors record their own videos to sit beside it.
  • Join codes, groups and the tutor report, as with any organisation.
  • Every course and call-out, and the monthly additions, for the life of the licence.
  • Help mapping it to your qualification, and a session to train your tutors.

How it works

  • The simulator is served only from our servers. Your page shows a frame; what runs inside it comes from us and stays inside it.
  • You paste the snippet into your page yourself and you are responsible for your site around it. We are responsible for what runs inside the frame.
  • Your learners sign in inside the frame. Their progress is on their account, and your tutors see it.
  • It only runs on the web addresses named in the licence. Paste it anywhere else and it shows nothing.
  • You can switch it off from your side at any time. So can we.

What it is, and is not

  • A licence, never a sale. The software, the content and the DrawWarm name stay ours.
  • Business to business, on a two-year agreement, priced by quote; no consumer rights apply between us.
  • “Powered by DrawWarm” stays on the screen unless the agreement says otherwise.
  • Charge your learners what you like for the course; the licence fee is ours, the course fee is yours.
  • The agreement is in the procurement pack and is signed before anything goes live.

Where it fits your course

DrawWarm courseWhat learners practise
Electrical FundamentalsLive, neutral, earth; wire colours; switched live; permanent versus switched supplies; the wiring centre; safe isolation
Component LibraryFused spur, programmer, room and cylinder thermostats, 2-port and 3-port valves, boiler, pump: terminals and operation
Sequence of OperationsPower flow from supply to boiler traced with the meter; boiler interlock; demand combinations; a fault-tracing method
S-Plan Wiring and Y-Plan WiringA full build of each system, terminal by terminal, commissioned against its truth table
Fault Diagnosis5 timed challenges on a working S-Plan, then 23 call-outs in Random Fault mode

The accreditation stays with your course; DrawWarm is practice and evidence, mapped to the electrical and controls units you already teach. See every lesson.

Your IT questions

Answered before they are asked

What do we install?
Nothing. The simulator runs in the browser. Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a Windows PC, a Mac or a Chromebook.
What does the network need?
A broadband connection per classroom and a short list of domains on the allow-list. Open drawwarm.com/system-check on a classroom PC: it runs the check in a minute and prints the allow-list and the minimum specification for IT. The same sheet is in the procurement pack.
Where is the data?
Named-learner data is stored in the United Kingdom. The college is the data controller and DrawWarm the processor, under the data-processing agreement in the pack.
How do students sign in?
With their college Microsoft or Google account, or an email address. Their progress follows the account, not the machine.
What happens when a course ends?
The group closes on its end date, the seats free up after 30 days, and quiet accounts are archived and later deleted on a published schedule.
Is it accessible?
The website is built to WCAG 2.2 AA. The simulator is a visual, mouse-driven canvas and our accessibility statement describes its limits honestly.
