Quotes

Something else? Ask for a quote.

Anyone can ask: one person who wants a year paid up front, a few of you, a training day, a college with 60 seats, or the simulator on your own website under your own logo. Say what you need and you get a quote, or a question, within one working day.

Individuals and small groups

Any email address. A year up front, a group of mates, a father and son, a training day for a small firm: name it and we price it.

Colleges, training providers, employers

From your official college or business address. An invoice against a purchase order, more than 50 seats, an odd number of seats, a two- or three-year term with the price fixed, a classroom licence, or a pilot that does not fit the standard one.

White label

The simulator on your own website, under your own logo, with scripts for your tutors’ videos. A business-to-business licence, never a sale. How white label works.

Questions

Straight answers

What is the difference between the Sandbox and the full version?
The Sandbox is the simulator on its own: every component, every system, the multimeter, save and load your circuits. £29 a month for everyone, always. The full version adds all 7 courses, the 5 diagnosis challenges and the 23 call-outs in Random Fault mode.
Does it work on a Chromebook or a college PC?
Yes. The simulator runs in the browser. Nothing is installed, and a normal broadband connection is enough.
Can I cancel, and is there a refund?
Individuals can cancel at any time from their account. Yes, any time, from your account: nothing more is charged and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. There are no refunds for changing your mind. When you buy you ask us to start straight away and acknowledge that the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies, as the refund policy explains. If you pay the launch price, cancelling ends it: come back later and you pay the price published at that time. Organisations licence by the year and cannot end a licence year early; the business terms explain.
What is a seat?
One person with access. Every person, whether a student, a tutor, an admin or a manager, uses a seat while they have access. When someone leaves, their seat is held for 30 days and then frees up for the next person.
Why do organisations licence by the year, not by the month?
Because that is how colleges and employers budget, and because a wiring unit runs for weeks: a monthly seat would be bought for the six weeks of the module and dropped, which is not a price anyone can build a product on. A 12-month licence, paid in advance by card or by invoice on 30-day terms, renews unless you tell us before the renewal date. Seats can be added at any time in the year and reduced at renewal. Two- and three-year terms with the price fixed throughout are available by quote. A college licence can run to 31 July so that renewals fall in the summer.
Can we pay by invoice against a purchase order?
Yes. Ask for an invoice through the quote form or by email, with your purchase order number; it is printed on the invoice, which is due 30 days from its date. A college or other public body with a purchase order gets access when the order is accepted, not when the invoice is paid.
Can a college teach its own course with the Sandbox?
Yes. Sandbox seats are £348 a seat a year, any number of seats, the same price as an individual paying yearly, with no lessons attached. Tutors put the simulator on the board and every learner gets their own copy to wire.
Can students use a college seat at home?
Yes, unless the college restricts it. A college account belongs to the college. Students who want their own progress, at home and after the course, buy an individual account; the two are kept separate.
What is the free pilot?
Two seats for one group, for seven days: enough for a tutor and a learner to wire a system, run a call-out and see the report. Applied for from an official college or business email address. No card, no obligation.
What does an employer pilot cost?
Employer pilots are paid, because a company judges on results: 8 weeks for 10 to 50 seats at one sixth of the yearly seat price for each seat (£165 a seat at the launch price for the 10-seat pack). Take a 12-month licence within 30 days of the pilot ending and the whole pilot fee is credited against the first year.
Can I ask for a quote if I am not a business or a college?
Yes. The quote form on this page takes any email address for individuals and small groups. Only requests for an organisation (a college, training provider, employer or a white-label licence) have to come from an official address.
Can we put DrawWarm on our own website, under our own logo?
Yes, under a white-label licence: your logo in the simulator, an embed snippet that runs it on your pages from our servers, scripts for your tutors to record their own videos, and the tutor report. It is a business-to-business licence, never a sale, priced by quote.
Which systems are covered?
S-Plan with 2-port zone valves, wired and wireless. Y-Plan with a 3-port mid-position valve. Combi boilers with a wireless thermostat. Twenty-three components: room thermostats (dial, digital and volt-free), wireless thermostats and receivers, cylinder stats, frost stats, single and dual-channel programmers, zone valves, boilers, the pump, the wiring centre and the multimeter.
What about VAT?
The price shown is the price you pay. No VAT is added at checkout.
